Come with us as we take you through the streets of our vision, where the sun shines a little brighter, and the laughter of children echoes in the air.
It all began with a vision bigger than a pot of jollof rice at a wedding. When Pst. Ken and Favour dared to dream of a place where orphaned children could find shelter, and widows could find strength.
This vision, born out of compassion and empathy, is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a loving home, and every widow deserves the opportunity to thrive despite life's challenges.
Our journey began with a simple yet profound vision - to create a sanctuary where orphaned children could find solace and love and where widows could discover their strength and potential. It was a vision sparked by the realization that amidst life's adversities, there is always an opportunity to make a difference, no matter how small.
However, as with any worthwhile endeavour, the journey was not without its challenges.
From navigating the maze of bureaucracy to the daunting task of securing funding for the construction of our center to the meticulous running of day to day activities at the center, we have faced obstacles that tested our resolve. There have been moments when it seemed as though the odds were stacked against us, but through unwavering faith and the unwavering support of our community, we have pressed on.
In the face of adversity, we have been fortunate to receive an outpouring of support from individuals and organizations alike. From physical donations of essential items for the center to generous monetary contributions, and the invaluable encouragement and good wishes from individuals, each form of support served as a beacon of hope in our darkest hours.
Our goal is not simply to provide care for a handful of orphans and widows but to grow and expand our reach, impacting the lives of as many as possible. We envision a future where every child knows love, and every widow finds strength and opportunity, regardless of their circumstances.
